Di luar negeri disebut Java. Di USA, istilah Java sangat pupuler sebagai bahasa "gaul" untuk kopi secara umum. Kabupaten Temanggung merupakan salah satu sentra tanaman kopi dan penghasil kopi terbesar di Jawa Tengah. This coffee is coming from Java Island, and commonly used to characterize coffe that is thick, black, sweet and with much residue. Usually just called 'Java'. In the USA, the term Java is a very popular in social language to refer to coffee in general. Temanggung regency is one of the coffee plantations center and biggest producer of coffee in Central Java. Temanggung coffee have good quality and sought by factories and also have export value.

                  Sidikalang (Sidikalang Coffee) sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Dairi, Sumatera Utara. Sidikalang adalah ibukota Kabupaten Dairi, daerah ini terletak di daerah pegunungan yang sejuk, sehingga sangat potensial untuk pengembangan perkebunan kopi. Kopi Sidikalang asal Sumatera Utara dengan sebutan Kopi Medan. /

Sidikalang is a sub-district in Dairi regency, Northern Sumatra. Capitol of the regency, it is situated in cool high plains, which makes it potential for coffee plantations. Robusta coffee from Sidikalang, northern Sumatra is often called Medan Coffee.

  

                Kopi Luwak Liar Wild Civet Coffee adalah jenis kopi paling aneh dan paling mahal di Indonesia dan di dunia. Mengapa? Karena Luwak yang tumbuh liar di hutan (Wild Civet) hanya memakan biji kopi yang sudah matang dan tidak dicerna secara sempurna lalu membuang kotorannya yaitu biji kopi yang sudah berfermentasi Proses pencernaan luwak, enzim proteolytic menyerap ke biji, membelah protein-protein kopi, sehingga terjadi banyak asam amino bebas. Sehingga citarasa dan aroma untuk kopi luwak semakin sensasional dibandingkan kopi lainnya. kadar keasamannya (acid) sangat rendah dan menurangi rasa pahit pada kopi luwak. Apa perbedaan kopi luwak liar dengan kopi luwak tangkar?kopi luwak liar artinya luwak hidup di hutan, sedangkan luwak tanggkar java-temanggung hidup di penangkaran (farm) dan memang terdapat perbedaan rasa, aroma kopi antara luwak liar dengan luwak tangkar.

Civets is a nocturnal animal, active at night time. The muzzle is pointed, white or grey fur on the forehead, with black tail. This mammal can live until the age of 10 years old. Civets only eat perfectly ripe coffe-fruit.They have unique digestive system, which only process the flesh of coffee fruit, the beans stay intact. Along the digestive system, coffee beans are fermented and digested with certain enzymes. After 12 hours inside the civet's body, they will get out with the civet droppings. Those beans become The champion of coffee. In international market the price of this coffe is around US$ 100-350 per kg, compared to other common coffee with good quality which is around US$ 15 per kg, it is very high. This also cotributed by the fact that the supply is very limited, around 500 kg per year in international market. Nowadays there are captive civets for this purpose, but the beans produced are not as good as ones from wild civets. Civet Coffee beans must undergo some tests to proof their reputed quality. They are called cup-test, and can only be conducted by certified professionals from international standard coffee research bodies.

    Cara pemakaian sangat mudah yaitu:

    1. Masukkan biji kopi ke dalam mesin melalui corong

    2. Pasang pipa ke tabung gas (pipa sudah tersedia)

    3. Colokkan kabel ke aliran listrik

    4. Hidupkan mesin (Angkat tuas ke atas)

    5. Hidupkan kompor gasnya ukuran bisa diatur sama seerti kita masak dengan kompor gas (jika ingin cepat matang maka push aliran api lebih besar tp standart dari kami gunakan api sedang saja)

    6. Setelah 5menit silahkan cek hasil roastingannya dengan cara melihat dengan tusukan besi (ada di mesin).

    7. 15menit kemudian lihat hasilnya) maka matikan kompor gas tetapi dinamo tetap menyala ini dilakukan agar kopi tidak menjadi godong dan mesin masih menyimpan panas. Biarkan sampai 7-10 menit selalu cek hasil roastingan. Adapun waktunya tergantung dari besar api dan jenis biji kopinya.
